The shared-room rate provides more than a place to sleep. It combines food and household essentials with on-site manager support, regular testing, and built-in recovery accountability.
Call admissions for current private-room pricing and openings. Housing is paid privately, and housing fees do not cover outpatient or clinical services.
What is included at the starting rate
- A shared bedroom in a structured Los Angeles recovery residence
- Food staples that make settling in easier and support everyday meal routines
- Wi-Fi for work, school, telehealth appointments, and staying connected
- Linens and essential shared-house supplies
- On-site managers who reinforce house expectations, consistent routines, and day-to-day accountability
- Nightly breath-alcohol checks and random weekly drug testing that support a substance-free home
- A living environment compatible with recovery meetings, outpatient care, work, and school
- Help connecting with recovery meetings and resources that fit each resident’s needs

- Refunds: Payments are nonrefundable unless management approves an exception after reviewing the reason for move-out.
- Notice: One week’s move-out notice is required.
- Deductions: No standard deductions.
- Processing: An approved refund is processed within three days.
Notify management at least one week before the planned departure date.
Fit and logistics
Know the setting and expectations.
These policies provide the practical information families need while protecting resident privacy.
General neighborhood
Residential settings in the Crenshaw and Spaulding areas of Los Angeles. Exact addresses and arrival instructions are provided after acceptance.
Medication handling
House managers verify prescribed controlled medications and store them securely. Managers can also help coordinate pharmacy pickups and medication checks.
Adults age 18+
Residents must be adults age 18 or older, committed to a substance-free home, willing to follow house expectations, and able to participate safely in community living.
Detox before move-in
Anyone coming off severe alcohol or opioid use must complete a medical detox program first. Gracious Wellsprings is a recovery residence, not a detox facility, and does not provide on-site medical staff.
Recovery participation
Residents attend at least three recovery meetings each week. The team can help connect each resident with meetings and other recovery resources that fit their needs.
Alcohol and drug testing
Residents complete a breath-alcohol check nightly and receive random drug testing each week to support accountability and a substance-free home.
Pet-friendly placement
Pets are accepted, and dogs must weigh less than 30 pounds. Tell admissions about the pet before placement so the resident can be assigned to a pet-compatible room.
Arrival availability
Accepted residents can move in the same day at any time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
