Admissions and move-in
We listen first, explain what we know, identify what still needs to be confirmed, and help you make an informed next-step decision.
How it works
Admissions can move quickly when circumstances require it, but clarity comes before pressure. We review fit, readiness, timing, availability, and any care coordination that may be needed.
Tell us who is seeking housing, what has happened recently, current treatment, sobriety status, timing, and the most urgent concerns.
We discuss recovery commitment, health and safety needs, ability to participate in community life, and whether another level of care should be addressed first.
We review the most appropriate residence, room availability, fees, arrival timing, transportation, medications, personal belongings, and documents.
At arrival, the resident learns the home, meets support, reviews expectations, and creates a practical plan for the first days.
What to have ready
Do not delay calling if something is unknown. These items simply help our team understand the situation and coordinate efficiently.
Understanding fit
Every admission is individual. The following considerations help guide a conversation; they are not a diagnosis or an automatic acceptance decision.
Commitment to a substance-free environment, willingness to follow house expectations, engagement with recovery support, ability to participate in community living, and readiness for a less intensive setting than inpatient care.
Active intoxication or withdrawal, need for medical detox, acute psychiatric instability, medical needs beyond the home's scope, unwillingness to remain substance-free, or circumstances requiring a higher level of supervision.
